FACE REFLEXOLOGY

What is face reflexology?

Face Reflexology is a modern technique that has its roots in oriental medicine combining aspects from many disciplines and practices with Aboriginal and Vietnamese origins. It also incorporates the results of modern neurological research. Through stimulation of zonal points on the face it is possible to increase blood circulation, help balance the body's chemistry and treat the emotional state of the person while improving the flow of energy. This facial massage is extremely effective and aims to treat all levels of your well-being.

Face Reflexology is an holistic treatment for the whole body which brings about a profound state of relaxation.

What is holistic?

Derived from the Greek word meaning "whole", this is a treatment for the whole person i.e. mind, body and spirit. All aspects of life-style, general health and well-being are taken into account in order to treat not just the condition but also the person as a whole.

In fact, your first treatment will include a consultation in order to assess your general well-being and current life-style in order to identify any health issues which need to be addressed and decide on the appropriate course of treatment.

The Treatment

Face Reflexology works directly on the CNS impulses that are transmitted to the brain and therefore achieves fast and effective results. There are seven basic steps to the treatment that begins with a manipulation of 21 acupressure points. Each stage of the treatment helps the body eliminate any blockages found in the energy flow whilst encouraging the removal of unwanted emotional symptoms such as anxiety and depression. During the treatment Rose Mosqueta oil* and cream is gently massaged into the tissues of the face while the client is lying on the treatment couch. It is not necessary for the removal of any clothing.

What are the benefits?
