EXISTENTIAL PSYCHOTHERAPY
WHAT IS IT?
A form of therapy based on ideas from existential philosophy.
Clients have the opportunity/possibility of clarifying, reflecting upon and understanding their existence. This can involved exploring relationships and decision-making. The aim of the therapy is to bring into greater focus how you are currently living and then consider possible adjustments that seem appropriate to you.
Existential therapy can focus on one particular aspect of your life and take only a few sessions. Alternately, it can be a more open-ended exploration and take as many sessions as you the client feel to be appropriate.
Sessions last for 50 minutes, usually once a week, and cost £40 each.
Often it is useful to have an introductory session to discuss the possibilities and discover if existential therapy with me is what you are looking for.
